Time Away

Plan care around a trip

  1. On the Calendar, select Plan time away. On a phone, select the + button, then Plan time away
  2. Set Leaving and Back, or choose a Length
  3. Under This trip, set A meal may move by and Sitters feed during the trip, which are initially set from Settings, Preferences
  4. Select the plan button, which counts the nights, such as Plan 8 nights away

The trip is saved to your account, one at a time. A Time away tab appears beside Month, Week and List, and the Month and Week mark your days away.

Choose when to feed a reptile

Select a reptile’s row, then Use this on the option you want. Suggested marks the one closest to its usual schedule. Your choice moves its likely marks on the Calendar, and changes nothing in your records.

Feed early from the plan

From two days before you leave through the day you leave, a row under Feed before you go has a Log button. It logs the usual meal now, or opens the check list for a reptile with no usual meal. The row then reads Fed early, with Undo.

Show the whole plan on the Calendar

Select Put the plan on the calendar to choose the suggested option for every reptile at once. If that would replace an option you chose yourself, it asks first. Take it off clears every choice and puts the likely marks back.

Hand a sitter the list

The sitter list shows doses that can’t move, clutches due to hatch and, when Sitters feed during the trip is on, the feedings. Select Add a note for the sitter to add a note.

Print makes a Sitter Sheet with your letterhead and a box to tick for each task. Copy copies the list as text.

Change or end a trip

Select Change dates to edit the trip. Your choices and the note are kept. Select End plan now to clear it, and Undo brings it back. Otherwise the plan ends two days after your Back date.
