Feeding List

See who’s due to eat, grouped by food, and feed from the list

On this page
  1. What’s on the list
  2. Look further ahead
  3. Count the food
  1. In the sidebar, select Feeding List
  2. Check each reptile you’re feeding. To check a whole group, check its header
  3. Select the green button at the bottom, which counts your checks: Feed 2
  4. Set each reptile to Ate, Refused or Skip, then select the log button

The check list is the one in Select & Log, so everything there applies.

A reptile logged as Ate is unchecked afterward, so a second Feed can’t log it again. A reptile that refused or was skipped stays checked.

Undo on the notification takes back your last feed and returns its stock, until you feed again or leave the list. The reptiles it brings back are unchecked.

What’s on the list

Reptiles In Collection whose next feeding is due. They’re grouped by the food and size they eat.

  • Overdue: Past its due time. It doesn’t say how late
  • Fasting: A fasting reptile stays on the list and in the count, and the header says how many are fasting
  • No usual meal set: A reptile with no usual meal is in the last group

One group:

  1. The food and size the group needs
  2. How many reptiles in the group are fasting
  3. Checks the whole group
  4. How many items the group needs
  5. A reptile that’s past its due time and fasting

A reptile in shed is left off when Settings, Preferences, Hide feeding while shedding says so. A note at the top names them. Select Show to list them anyway.

Look further ahead

Select Due and choose how far the list reaches.

  • Now: What’s due within your Settings, Preferences, Show things as due early window
  • By tomorrow: Everything due before tomorrow ends
  • Next 7 days: Every meal, under a heading for each day. A reptile that eats every 5 days is listed twice. Only a meal that’s due now can be checked

Count the food

Select Totals to see what the list needs by food and size. For a size whose stock you count, it also shows Have and Short. Copy as text copies it for a shopping trip.

Shopping list looks at your whole collection for the next 7, 14 or 30 days, and Running low appears when the next 7 days need more of a size than you have. See Track Your Food Stock.
