On this page
These settings choose what the top of a reptile’s page shows on its Dashboard, Info and Photos tabs, and what the Dashboard shows under it. To open them from a reptile’s page, select in the upper right corner of its header.
Each change saves as you make it. The preview shows the result on one of your reptiles, and you can pick another from its list.
Give a category its own set
Under Settings for, Every reptile is the set all your reptiles use. A Reptile Category can have its own set instead, so a tortoise’s page can leave out feeding, or a dog’s can show only its medication and weight.
- Under Settings for, select the category
- Select Give Ball Python its own set
- Change what you like. Only that category’s reptiles follow it
A category’s own set begins as a copy of Every reptile’s, and a change to one never reaches the other. To drop it, select Go back to Every reptile's set, then Go back.
Choose the header facts
The facts under Showing are the header’s, in that order. Each row shows what the preview reptile has.
- To add a fact: Turn it on under Last time or About the animal. It goes at the end
- To move a fact: Drag it by its handle, or select the handle and use the arrow keys
- To start over: Select Back to the usual six for Sex, Age, Weight, Length, Last out and Lives in
A fact the reptile has no record of is left out of its header, except Last out, which keeps its pencil so it can be updated there. Past eight facts the page says so, since a phone shows them in several rows.
Change the rest of the header
How times read
How every “Last...” fact and Acquired read. Choose 5mo ago, the date (Jun 1) or Both. Initially set to 5mo ago. It’s the same for every reptile, so it’s under Every reptile only.
Notes
The reptile’s notes under the facts. Choose Off, 3 lines or All of them. Initially set to 3 lines.
Its other photos Computer only
Up to three of the reptile’s other photos beside the facts, which open the Photos tab. Initially set to on.
Customize button
The button in the corner of every reptile’s header that opens these settings. It’s under Every reptile only. Initially set to on.
Arrange the Dashboard
The Dashboard’s sections are Care dials, Quick Feed, Rhythm, Growth and History, listed top to bottom. Drag one by its handle to move it, and turn one off to hide it. While Care dials is on, its dials are listed under it to arrange the same way. Medication has one dial per running course, and Quarantine shows only while a dated quarantine runs.
Hiding a dial doesn’t turn off its reminder. It still counts on Home, in the Notification Bar and on the Feeding List, and the page names the preview reptile’s. To turn a reminder off, clear its interval in the reptile’s Update form.
Hide dials that have no reminder
Hides a dial that reads No reminder, and the Shed dial until it has an estimate. A reptile that has left your collection keeps all its dials. Initially set to off.
Opens on
How far back Rhythm goes when the page opens. Choose 3 mo, 12 mo or All. Initially set to 12 mo, which opens on All for a reptile with nothing logged in a year.
