Create an account, sign in and change your details

Sign in with your username or email and your password.

• Keep me signed in on this device: Stays signed in for 30 days instead of 24 hours, on this device only
• Log out: Log Out is at the foot of the sidebar, and signs out this device only

Create an account

1. On the sign-in card, select Create an account
2. Enter a Username of 3 to 20 characters and your Email
3. Enter a Password of at least 8 characters, twice
4. Select Create account

By creating an account you agree to the Terms of Service and have read the Privacy Policy. The line under the button links to both.

Next, confirm your email. After that, see Add Your First Reptile.

Confirm your email

An account can’t do anything else until its email is confirmed. A new account’s link goes out as soon as it’s created.

An account from the old SnekLog gets a card at its first sign-in instead. Check the address, correct Email if it’s out of date, and select Send confirmation link.

In the email from [email protected], select Confirm my email. The link works for 24 hours. If you open it on another device, select I've confirmed it on this one.

• No email: Check your spam folder, then select Send it again. You can send 5 an hour
• Wrong address: Select Use a different address
• Wrong account: Select Sign out beside Not you?

Reset a forgotten password

1. On the sign-in card, select Forgot password?
2. Enter your username or email and select Send reset link
3. In the email, select Choose a new password
4. Enter the new password twice and select Save and sign in

The link works once, for an hour. Using it signs out your other devices.

Forgot your username? The reset email names it, and your password stays as it is if you don’t use the link.

Change your username, email or password

Settings›, Account lists all three. Select one, fill in the form and enter your Current password.

• Username: 3 to 20 characters
• Email: The address changes once you open the link sent to the new one. The old address gets a notice when it does
• Password: Your other devices are signed out, and your email gets a notice

Download your data

See Export Your Data.

Delete your account

Delete account in Settings›, Account removes your reptiles, events, photos, settings and letterhead for good. It can’t be undone.

Select Download your data first if you want a copy. Then check the box, type your username, enter your Current password and select Delete account. A data export or report that’s still building has to finish first.
