The Sales Certificate
The certificate generates one page on Letter paper. SnekLog shortens it to fit the page. If trims are necessary, older medications are omitted first, then animal notes, and finally terms of sale.

- Lines for the seller, the buyer and the date of sale
The Animal Report
This report includes everything that is on the certificate, but it is more comprehensive. The time frame of each category is listed below. Any custom category will be included in full.
To print every row, switch on Include the full history. A hidden category will be omitted from the report unless you switch on Include hidden categories.
| Section | Range included |
|---|---|
| Medication, Weight & Length, Mating, Breeding Cycle, Notes | In full |
| Feeding, Cleaning, Defecation | The last 12 months |
| Shed Cycle | The last 24 months |
A section whose entries are all older than its window says how many are on record. Each event’s time prints in UTC, on a 24-hour clock.
Set your letterhead, logo and which photos print in Settings, Reports & Documents.

Card options
Under Card options, pick a layout and what goes on the card. The preview shows each selected animal’s card. Print the PDF at actual size (100%), so each card lands on its label.
Label layouts
- Rack label2⅝ × 1 in, 30 a sheet (Avery 5160)
- Tub label2 × 4 in, 10 a sheet (Avery 5163)
- Index card3 × 5 in, 4 a sheet, cut lines
- One card a pageFor a label printer, at the size picked
- Rack label fits four short lines beside the code: the record ID; the name, sex and species; the morph or a venom warning; and the ranges. A long range gets a line of its own in smaller print, and about 40 characters show
- Tub label, the default, prints everything you tick except the photo
- Index card prints everything you tick, the photo too
- One card a page is for a label printer, at the size you pick
To use up a sheet you’ve started, set Start at label to its first free label. Labels count along each row, then down.
- 4Tub labelStart at label 4
A long temperature or humidity range takes a row of its own on a tub label or index card, wrapping to two lines. When a range on one of the picked animals would print cut short on the layout you chose, a ! beside Temp range or RH range says on how many animals and how much shows; shorten the range on the animal or pick a bigger card.
