Reading the list

Point at an item, or at a number on the picture, to highlight it. Click to keep it lit.Tap an item, or a number on the picture, to highlight it.

  1. The food type and size, and the weight of the whole group
  2. The number of animals in the group that are fasting
  3. The group’s checkbox
  4. The number of food items the group needs
  5. An overdue meal for an animal that is marked fasting

A fasting animal will stay on the list. An animal with no usual meal is in the last group, No usual meal set. The overdue icon, overdue, does not show how late the meal is.

Animals in shed are omitted when Settings, Preferences, Hide feeding while shedding is set to In shed or In shed & pre-shed. A note at the top names them, with Show to list them anyway.

Feeding from the list

Select the animals you are feeding, or a group’s header to select the whole group, then select Feed on the bar at the foot of the page. Feed opens the Select & Log check list. An animal logged as Ate will be unchecked afterwards; one that refused or was skipped stays checked.

Totals, Shopping list and Running low

Totals lists the food to get out, by food type and size. It shows each size’s Need, then Have and Short for a size whose stock is counted. It counts only the animals the list shows.

The Shopping list shows what to Buy for the next 7, 14 or 30 days, based on your whole collection and your counts.

Running low appears at the top of the list when the next 7 days need more of a size than its stock count holds.
